Jack Loeb uses strong bold colors and expressive brush strokes to convey a sense of joy and excitement in his paintings.

His major in college was quickly changed after taking his first art class.  The pursuit of painting had begun!

Jack is a retired art educator with over 37 years of experience teaching elementary through college level art.  He taught with the Department of Defense Schools in Germany for 22 years, and worked as an Arts and Crafts Director in the Azores.

While living in Europe, Jack had the opportunity to see original works by Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, and other masters.  This experience has greatly influenced his work throughout his painting career.

He now lives in Smithville, TN, where he can be found in his studio daily.  He is still pursuing his love of painting!
